December Update

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  Even through the busyness of the holiday season, we have made great progress at Greyhound Estate and the results are turning out to be nothing short of stunning.

In the kitchen, we have Origami White upper cabinets and Smokey Blue lowers.  (All paint used is from Sherwin Williams.)  The backsplash is a striking diamond shaped marble with a gray accent.  The result is gorgeous!

I know I've mentioned in previous posts about the amount of storage in this kitchen, but we were shocked when we counted drawers and doors for hardware.  There are 85 doors and drawers in this kitchen!

The laundry room in Greyhound Estate is probably the funnest laundry room in town.  Most laundry rooms can't be described as fun, but between the pretty granite and the cheerful colored wallpaper, I think we can call this one fun!  It might even make you want to do a little washing and folding.

You may remember this wallpaper from a previous post about all of the Greyhound wallpaper.  Click here in case you missed the post.  The colors in this wallpaper really brighten up the space.

The laundry room counters are Kashmir White granite and there is plenty of counter and storage space plus a sink.  This is a great workspace.

If you recall from earlier posts, the planned design for both fireplaces in this home was to make both WOW factors of the house!  And the results are just that -- WOW!

In the Living Room, we have used concrete tiles for the fireplace wall from floor to ceiling.  We did an entire post on this fireplace because it is so dramatic!  Click here in case you missed it.  These three dimensional tiles will be a conversation piece to all who visit this home.  They're like a beautiful work of art displayed on your wall.  These tiles are naturally a pale gray concrete color and they blend perfectly with the color palette of the rest of the home.  While you can paint these tiles, we have chosen not to.

The second fireplace in the home is in the Parlor.  The Parlor has turned out to be just as elegant as we imagined.  The sleek lines of the "paneling" on the walls and the granite surrounding the fireplace is a timeless look.  The walls are painted Gray Screen and the panels are Reticence.  The granite is Fantasy Brown.

The master bedroom has turned out to be exquisite.  Your eyes are immediately drawn to this chandelier when you enter the room.  It's a showstopper!

In a previous post, we shared the changes that we made to the floorplan in order to make this a master retreat instead of just a master suite.  If you missed that post, click here.

Tile is moving right along in the master shower.  The black and white marble accent is very striking as you enter the room.  Gorgeous!

We are so excited about the progress of Greyhound Estate and to be able to share it with you.  As we near completion, we will continue to share more updates here and on Facebook.  Please click the link below to like our page if you haven't already.

As you can see, this luxury home is stunning throughout.  Every room in the house has been meticulously designed to be uniquely striking and dramatic.  We want the next owner to enjoy the beauty of each and every room.
