Let's Talk About Storage

Let's talk for a moment about storage. When you build a custom home, you get to choose exactly where the closets are, how many, and how large. When you buy an existing home, you may or may not get exactly the storage space that you dreamed of. Well, let me tell you that in Greyhound Estate, there is NO shortage of storage. We have never seen so many closets and cabinets in one house. 

Isn't it nice to have a place for everything and to have everything in its place? The entire kitchen looks cleaner when the counter tops are clear of appliances and utensils. The same is true in bathrooms. A clear counter top just looks cleaner. Plenty of storage is necessary to keep a nice and tidy home. Luckily, Greyhound Estate has that covered.

We've already mentioned the storage in the butler's pantry, but we haven't shown you the storage in the butler's pantry. This is amazing.

On one side of the butler's pantry, there are 21, that's TWENTY-ONE, cabinets for all your dishes, appliances, and gadgets in your kitchen.  

Under the sink in the butler's pantry, there are a few more! 

Lots of storage in the kitchen. 

And then, we increased the size of the pantry to a walk-in pantry so there is plenty of space for food storage.   

The utility room also has plenty of storage in it for cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, etc. And it has a really nice counter top for a folding station and its own sink. 

Just off of the foyer is a nice large coat closet to hang guests' coats. 

Under the stairs is another storage space. Or a really great hide-and-go-seek spot. This would be a perfect place to throw all the kids' sleeping bags and extra pillows that they always have to pull out for sleepovers. Or use this for Christmas decorations. It is tucked away, but so easy to access. 

This linen closet is adjacent to the master suite. You'll have plenty of room for all of your sheets, blankets, towels, and then some. The drawers at the bottom are really convenient and help to utilize every inch of space.

We have already seen the layout of the master suite (but if you want to see that post again, click here). Here is a picture of the closet of the master suite. Because big wasn't big enough, we made it bigger!   

We love that Greyhound Estate is not lacking in storage! The original designer of Greyhound Estate knew the importance of abundant storage space in a home. They gave us plenty to work with and then we still added a bit more. Adequate storage in the right places can add value to your home and just make it more comfortable and enjoyable.You can never have too much.
