An Update from Greyhound Estate

It has been a busy week at Greyhound Estate so we wanted to give you an update on some of our progress!

Our framers have furred the surface of the original fireplace so we can prepare it for the amazing tile that Randal has chosen. If you haven't seen the tile, click here. The fireplace will be a work of art all by itself.
In the parlor, we now have a firebox in place for the new fireplace. This room will be so elegant with this fireplace with a mantel and paneling on the surrounding wall. This space will be perfect for a formal gathering or a really good book on a rainy day.
While it is inappropriate to say that "we have gas", we are so excited to say that "we have gas!!" We didn't know if it would be possible to run gas lines to have gas lanterns on the front of the house, but we did it! We are excited to pick out some really gorgeous gas lanterns for the front of Greyhound Estate!
The master bedroom is getting a gorgeous tray ceiling to add a little drama to this soon-to-be exquisite retreat!
From the backyard looking in, we can see the framing for new windows and doors. The view from the living room to the backyard is one of the highlights of the home. These windows will make the indoor living space feel cohesive with the outdoor living space.
Last, but not least, we posted our sign in the yard to share this blog site and the fact that we are updating this beautiful estate. We hope the neighborhood will be pleased to see this gem restored to a lovely and lively home again.
We want to thank all of you who have been following us on this blog. We are so excited to be able to share our progress and to hear from each of you.
